Murray Library is a great place to escape to for some solitude in reading. There is rarely - except after school - much noise, hustle or bustle like sometimes that of the next closest library branch outside the Shire. All of the staff are highly commendable and great at what they do. There is a regular program of talks as well as activities with tea/coffee and cookies provided. As for the collection, whilst it certainly could not rival the likes of the City of Mandurah, the selection is more than acceptable. Staff here will go out of their way to assist you. Once during a quiet time a lovely librarian, away from the main desk shelving, came and told me so and asked me to let her known if I needed any assistance. There are several PCs available for browsing the internet or word processing and there is a holiday program for school aged library patrons. Well worth a visit.
